About Me

BILL STEINKELLNER writes very short stories on the backs of postcards.  He began this unusual practice to get a girl to date him.  That was many years ago, and now she his partner, wife, mother of his three children, and author of this brief bio (he’s the author of everything else on this site)

POSTCARDS FROM THE MOON, Bill’s first collection of p.c. stories won rave reviews, was a LOS ANGELES TIMES BEST-SELLER, and is, of course available on Amazon.com.

    Has it been 30 years?
I remember the bookstore on H’wd Bivd. as if it were yesterday. Maybe it was. And the day before that Cheri ran off to join the national company of “Grease.” So glad she decided to come back.

As soon as I hit “send” I noticed that I misspelled my naym.
Then it said my comment was awaiting “moderation”
I guess it’s “everything in moderation” over at WordPress, eh?
